Neighbourhoods at a glance<\/h2>\n

Brighouse and City Centre form the urban core: concrete high-rises, the CF Richmond Centre mall and the strongest transit access. Steveston, the historic fishing village at the southwest tip, trades on character homes, walkability and waterfront parks, and commands a premium. Ironwood and Hamilton offer newer townhome communities popular with families, while Sea Island and Burkeville sit close to YVR with a quieter, village feel. Each pocket has its own price rhythm – do not assume one Richmond comparable fits all.<\/p>\n

Get pre-approved with a lender familiar with leaseholds if you are shopping condos. Review strata minutes and depreciation reports closely: Richmond’s 1990s and 2000s condo stock varies widely in upkeep.
