Explore Richmond
Island city, two coastlines, and some of Metro Vancouver’s most family-friendly neighbourhoods. Richmond is where the Fraser River meets the sea — historic Steveston, a buzzing City Centre, and quiet waterfront communities in between, all 20 minutes from downtown Vancouver and home to YVR.

Steveston
Richmond's historic fishing village, still very much alive. Steveston was once the Salmon Capital of the World — the 1894 Gulf of Georgia Cannery, now a National Historic Site, anchors a working waterfront where boats still sell salmon, spot prawns, and octopus straight off the deck at Fisherman's Wharf. Moncton Street's independent shops and cafes, Britannia Shipyards' heritage buildings, and Garry Point Park's sunset walks make this a place to visit and a place to stay. Small-town waterfront charm, twenty minutes from YVR.

City Centre
Richmond's downtown and civic heart. City Centre is built around the Richmond–Brighouse Canada Line terminus — about 25 minutes to downtown Vancouver, 15 to the airport — with condos, offices, City Hall, Richmond Centre, and Minoru Park all clustered along No. 3 Road. The Golden Village here is one of North America's great Asian dining districts, from Aberdeen Centre to Alexandra Road's "Food Street" with its 200-plus restaurants. Car-free urban living, with the whole region in reach.

Terra Nova
Suburbia with a wilderness edge. Terra Nova is a master-planned community of single-family homes on Richmond's northwest shore, built around the 63-acre Terra Nova Rural Park — community gardens, an adventure playground, and working farm heritage. The West Dyke Trail runs along the Strait of Georgia with North Shore mountain views for cycling, bird-watching, and dog walks. Quiet, green, and family-focused, minutes from City Centre.

Ironwood
Solid family suburbia in south-central Richmond. Ironwood is all about townhomes and single-family homes in walkable pocket communities, with Ironwood Plaza and Coppersmith Corner on Steveston Highway covering groceries, restaurants, and daily services. Quick to Highway 99 and the Steveston waterfront, and a straight shot to the U.S. border and Delta. Great-value family living with room to breathe.

Hamilton
Richmond's quiet eastern outpost. Hamilton is a small-town enclave on the city's eastern edge, across from New Westminster's Queensborough — older homes on generous lots, the Hamilton Community Centre, and a semi-rural feel far from the island's bustle. Highway 91 makes it an easy commute to Surrey, Burnaby, and New West. Space and calm for buyers who don't need to be in the thick of it.

Seafair
Calm west-side living by the water. Seafair stretches along Lulu Island's western edge to the Strait of Georgia — quiet streets of single-family homes, the West Dyke Trail at your doorstep for waterfront walks with ocean and mountain views, and Seafair Shopping Centre at No. 1 Road and Francis for daily needs. Between Steveston and City Centre, close to both. Peaceful family territory for dyke-walkers and beach-sunset people.
